Denmark's YouSee launches YouSee Play.
YouSee has launched a new entertainment offering that combines TV channels with streaming services.
According to the Danish operator, YouSee Play satisfies the growing desire among Danes for a variable selection of entertainment that is catered to the preferences and requirements of each individual home. The Nuuday business will also be hoping that the new package helps stop the subscriber loss it has been experiencing lately. YouSee claims that since more than half of Danish families mix streaming deals with TV packages, people end up paying for things they don’t utilize.

Poland drives SVOD revenues.
By 2027, Eastern European SVoD revenue would increase to US$2.95 billion from US$1.6 billion, primarily due to Poland’s expansion. Poland will be the only nation in Eastern Europe to generate more than US$1bn in SVoD revenue by 2027, according UK analysis firm Digital TV Research.
Poland’s SVoD revenue is expected to reach US$1.09 by 2027, followed by Russia at US$605 million, Romania at US$215 million, the Czech Republic at US$152 million, Greece and Hungary at US$118 each, and Ukraine at US$106 million. Other countries’ SVoD revenues are expected to total US$550 million by 2027.
Only 16% of the region’s TV households will have a subscription to at least one SVoD platform by 2027, according to the business, so there will still be plenty of space for expansion after the projected period.
According to Simon Murray, chief analyst at Digital TV Research, “Revenues will climb from $0.93 billion in 2021 to $2.24 billion in 2027, excluding Russia and Ukraine, which is no small effort given that they combined account for 57% of the region’s TV consumers. Cinedigm To Launch Its Cineverse Of Brands On September 15.
According to Cinedigm, the Cineverse will debut on September 15. With an integrated guide to help viewers find the content they want to watch, whether they are fans of fantasy, horror, or other genres, The Cineverse will be the home for the company’s free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channels and video-on-demand services.
Built with Cinedigm’s Matchpoint technology, Cineverse will have an integrated program guide that will make switching between channels simple for users. Fandor, Screambox, RetroCrush, The Bob Ross Channel, Dove, AsianCrush, El Rey Network, Bloody Disgusting, and Comedy Dynamics are just a few of the channels available on the hub.

LG Channels announces free movies for September and the addition of 5 FAST channels.
There will be a variety of new channels available on the service for a short period of time in September.
The new channels include DUST from Gunpowder & Sky, which specializes in sci-fi movies, TV, and short films, as well as TripleB Media’s ACL Cornhole TV, which offers coverage of American Cornhole League tournaments and original programming. This month’s issue features a brand-new news and entertainment channel in Spanish.
The media firm revealed its plans to launch three channels on the platform of the manufacturer of smart TVs in August. Both the Estrella News channel and Cine Estrella TV are 24-hour Latin American movie channels. The company has more than 350 channels in total.
This week, announcements for more smart TV makers’ platforms were announced. As it invests more attention in FAST and concentrates on developing premium programming on the service, the firm announced additional collaborations for new originals and channels as well as more on-demand content.
